tetrahedron?   isn\'t that some sort of antibiotic used for the flu?

Ok, I will take a guess at holding it,   tabs would be the first thought,  possibly some V blocks?   Last guess, the old superglue trick.

Cut Mr. Moebius in half, down the center, all the way around and he turns into one long loop with 2 surfaces again.  He\'s cool.

Neat stuff cutter, are those going to be wall hangers or are you going to season them with oil?

You are a lucky man, I wish that I had some great grand children on the way or even a grandchild would be nice. I have close friends nearby that I grew up with there family must have been really busy. The mom and pop (still living) have six kids of there own which has developed into two great, great, great grandchildren for them so far.

Bruski,

I made these with reverse font so they could

make pancakes with their names on, so seasoned with oil.

Eventually they will probably be wall hangers.

Fun stuff

Cutter,

How much milling time would a project like that take to complete with your cnc mill?

I decided to cut a small model first

This one is 2.500 X 1.500 X .950 height

Finished with a .062 ball mill, about 6 hours total

cutting time plus a few hours modifying the model.

Cutter,

That is pretty cool, are you going to make the small one into a ring or something?

No, Nothing that small, larger is much easier and I

can get more detail in. Now I’m undecided what to

make it from, maybe hardwood, brass, Kryptonite,

Cast iron, or ??

Wondering what kind of toolpaths you use for something like the little one and how many operations?      I gotta try something like that sometime for fun.
