I started a Cutter inspired rat. It\'s an octogat with ruger firing pins and extractors like Cutter used on his rat gat. Pics coming

All Stainless except the 10-22 firing pins and extractors. Bolts are same as cutter except no cnc access so i pressed in dowel pins. more to come.

Yes I have anodized a lot of small items but for this I had to use bigger tools. I used a welder for the power supply and made a tank from 6\" aluminum pipe for the electrolyte.

Interesting, kind of like bluing for steel. Is it difficult to do?

very different. It creates a hard surface on the aluminum that is then dyeable. It involves putting the part in a diluted acid bath and energizing with DC for about 45 min.
