Does not look like you are using the Haas this time?    Are you using your mill for this one?

Your right Sparky,

I drilled a 7/8 hole on my manual mill.

Then roughed with a 1/4 square end, and

finished with a 1/4 ball and .010 step over.

Hows that new mill working out?    I know its no match for the HAAS you have been using but am interested in your impressions.

I moved in the spring from NY state to South Carolina and sold my machines because they would have been far too much trouble to move.   I have since bought a mill very similar to yours and am in the process now of retrofitting it. (a RF45 rong fu clone)

Very nice work of yours, as always.

Thanks Sparky SC,

Much to my surprise the mill has been great.

I had to adjust to small cuts and slower feed rates,

but it\'s been trouble free for 3 years.

It was shipped to me direct from China for $7200 bucks.

So I bought it through a dealer in Illinois to avoid Ca. tax

We were in SC this April, after visiting builders in Arizona, Texas

and Florida

Thanks lawman,
It\'s been about a year on the Six Shooters.
A few more months should do it.

I think anything over 50 cal. is a destructive device and might be regulated by the ATF.
Although that would be a great project 8-)

I think you are correct but I think shotgun cartridges and black powder are no included in that law.  That is why you can buy a 12 gauge anywhere 0r a 69 cal flintlock  but nothing over 50 in a metallic centerfire.

I recall some plans on the net somewhere for a 12ga gatling.    Talk about spray and pray !!

Shotguns are a \'special case\', and if the powers that be determine that a particular one isn\'t \'sporting\', away it goes into DD land (see: USAS-12, Street sweeper, et-al)
I would not bet a lot on a determination one way or the other for a Gatling shotgun.  Not a lot of skeet fields that would let you shoot one.

Black powder muzzle loaders are somewhat better off.
