Nice   I\'m going to have to follow this build. I am planning on making my Gat a 6 barreled version.   Bob

Great Bob,
I would like to hear any suggestions on this build.
I\'m building 3 units in witch 2 are pretty much stock.
On mine, I\'m open for anything.
I\'m thinking about larger diameter barrels maybe 5/8 to 3/4
What do you think ?

I was thinking of doing one stock dia to see how it works out then increasing the bolt circle to 2.250 and then going with a 7/8\" dia barrel 15\" long. Green mountain has a 21\" barrel blank for 33 dollars. I was looking at your drum magazine design for it. Do you have your magazine timed to drop the bullet at the exact right time. If so the gear ratio will have to be changed to accomodate the 6 barrel design.

I like your idea Bob.
I going to stick with 2\' BC now.
My Carriers and Recoil Plates are finished.
I\'ll look in to those Barrels, thanks.
I also was thinking about baffles over stock barrels.
You are right, I\'ll be cutting different gears for the Six

I\'m very interested in this build!!!! I think making different versions of the gat is cool as hell. Just look at the different versions of the 1911 over the last 100years.

I ordered 6 barrel blanks today a 12\" piece of 3\" and a 12\" piece of 3.5 inch brass. Jerry are you sure you don\'t want to do a slightly larger version?  :D

Bob,
I\'m obligated with part of my project, but I always have
time for new stuff.
How about a barter build ?

Sure it should be fun. Going to a 6 barreled design with a larger radius should make for a smoother cranking gun.

Here is the first thing I have ever drawn with my bobcad program. It took me over 4 hours to figure out how to draw it. It is a 2.250 radius carrier block. I still havent finished it yet but the hard part is done.   Bob
