I\'m using acrylic tube for set-up, and checking dimensions before
putting holes in the big-ass tubing. I don\'t want to screw that up.
I decided on a two / one ratio for the gears. 15 & 30 tooth

Here\'s the method I use to check clearance between follower, cam, and recoil point.

Cutter,
How are you going to cock the hammers on this design?

Here\'s a visual comparison of the two cams and rings.

The real change is in the movement.
The cams angle changes about 8° from 25° to 17° or
about 30% difference. Creating less friction getting to
the firing point, and smoother transition to the
recoil point.

After a few days cutting the rear collar, I set the gears today.

Here I\'m comparing impact marks to determine the force needed for the Rat.
The casing on the right is from my stock Ruger 10/22 rifle.
Turns out between 2.5 & 3 lbs of force

Cutter,
It must be nice to still have some CCI 22 ammo on hand. I think that everybody is hoarding it or something else perhaps.

Now I\'m at the point of dropping them in one at a time
for test firing. Maybe next week I\'ll have some video.

Very nice.  Flash Gordon would have loved to have this gun to fight the merciless Emporer Ming from Mars.

I finished the propeller using Delrin, because it is a slippery plastic.
Should be stable enough with the guide on the OD.
Propeller is 7.875 diameter

Cutter,
Do you have that propeller in a STL type of file please?
Thanks,
bruski
