Here\'s the model for the front legs and feet.

I going to thread both ends of the tube, connect

that way. Haven\'t started the rear leg yet, but it will

have some vertical adjustment and at a straight angle back.

Not compound like the front.

I changed the foot pad diameter from 2\" to 2-1/2\".
No function, just looks better to me.

Truly a challenge for a manual machinist, I\'ll see if I can do it!

Back to the bolts. Are there threads in the top of the .400 hole?  And is that a smaller hole at the bottom of the .400 hole? What size spring do you use on the hammer shaft?

Joboxxer,

The threads on top are 3/8-24 , the flat bottom hole 5/16

I have a sample bolt that\'s been around the country

Next, the upper bracket model, less threads.
I\'m threading it, just tired of drawing

To put things into perspective, how long did it take to draw that part up and how much machining time to cut it?

6000 hours of educational time leaning to drive the cadcam and the cnc machine,  10 minutes to draw, 10 minutes to machine   LOL

Its the old story of how people with a LOT of experience make things look easy.

Thanks Sparky, but at 75 I\'ve slowed down considerably.
If supplied a 2D print it would take under one hour, but this
is all about what I want so I keep making changes.
I think one day for the machining process.
I\'m in the 55th year of my apprenticeship, that’s 110,000 hrs.
OK, enough of my bull shit.
Here\'s a stick drawing , surfaces created from those entities

Pretty obvious from the quality of the stuff you make that this isn\'t your first rodeo.

I\'m watching and learning  AND appreciate the free apprenticeship !

This is where it can get a little hairy.
52 layers/parts with 617 surfaces.
The older members will recognize the modified bulldog

Cutter,

How are you machining all those nice evenly spaced holes on those legs and the barrel shrouds you make?     Rotary 4th axis with tailstock?
