Silver Soldering the machined brass parts - Hint

Did most of the silver soldering so far with MAPP gas and sometimes two MAPP gas torches to get the heat up high enough.

On my last trip to the hardware store I got one of those $50 Oxy-Mapp gas torch sets. It looked kinda \'bush league\' but it\'s \"the cat\'s meow\" for our RG-G\'s, a pinpoint flame and it gets super hot for some of the high mass brass parts.

The pinpoint flame cuts down tremendously on the thin brass warping from excess heat.

Wish I had started all the silver soldering with it.

Did you silver solder the side rails on or use low temp. high force 44 solder?

Conventional Silver Solder was used.
