Trunion and Trunion cover

This is probably obvious to the most casual observer but it appears to these eyes that there is a missing feature on sheet 5 of 5  on the view showing the side view of the trunion/yoke feature.

 

The view above shows the trunion lock positioned in the center of the trunion cover. The view below shows a 0.187 hole for the lock pin. There appears to be no accommodation to allow the cover lock to be inside the piece below it. 

 

What am I missing?

The slot is missing in the trunnion on my drawing also.

Just do the math and cut that sumbitch
