Finally got some rain here.

It has been a hot summer without any rains until now. It seems that hurricane Rosa has made it inland and is dumping her moisture on us now. The rain barrels are all full already and it is still coming down hard. I am looking for my rubber boots next if the crust doesn\'t break through so the water can soak in faster.

  Good news is that I get to do some hover craft testing after it lets up some.

We are ankle deep in mud over here, not complaining, the dust is settled for a while now. The hover craft wooden frame has warped quite a bit from sitting for so long. It will not seal around the skirt to the ground as the skirt material has become stiff with age, I know the feeling. I should have watched the weather closer so that I could have been ready.
