Barrels

Cutting barrels on some small or older lathes.
It\'s helps to keep pressure on the gears, so they won\'t jump around
when making small cuts. Depending on the lathe, this might help.
Apply a little pressure on the carriage lock or add some weight on
top of the carriage.
