The ship is complete, 40 items printed and assembled.

I think he used an old sheet for the sails.

Makes me want a printer

The apple doesn\'t fall far from the tree as far as skill goes. Really nice job!

IF you had a 3d printer I am sure your tastes would be for a ship with lots of guns though.

I went to an \"Additive Manufacturing\" expo here in Atlanta a couple of years ago.  It was quite amazing to see all the different 3D printers and their uses.  Not only in models, but for jewelry, and even facial bone reconstruction.  They were even printing airplane wings that have internal trusses that were made as one solid piece of material.  Impossible to do making individual parts and assembling them together.  They said they\'re just getting started.
