Is ther a reason why a chamber reamer is preferable to boring and counterboring per print?

In my experience I think it gives you a much finer finish.  Much easier than boring at such a small inside diameter.

The chambers are slightly tapered, reamers are ground with the proper taper.

Here\'s why you use a chambering reamer. When you use a boring bar, you\'re really cutting a fine thread. When the round goes off, the bass it expands to the size of the chamber. The bass grabs the fine threads and ejection of the brass requires more pressure from the bolt.
