This is a new firing pin design. Works good. Fired 250 times so far with out a hitch.

This is not new. I did it more than 10 years ago . Put the pin in the bolt and assemble it. I did this about the time I made the bolts in one piece and redid the extractors The prints were really bad as to construction methods. I made a LOT of other changes.  The original prints were dated 1994 and a newer set were dated 2005.

Looks like a good idea. Keeps the pin from rotating too doesn\'t it. I have been thinking of using a straight pin with a head that is drilled for the pin on the face out at the edge instead of the counterbore for a piercing punch. The head would be a slip fit for the deep hole in the bolt The goal is to have a firing pin that can\'t rotate so the striking end can be chisel pointed, and stay oriented. I\'ll let everyone know when I get that far.

This is what I used for the Six Shooters.
I moved the firing pin hole out closer to the cartridge rim and relieved
the center, leaving a .015 ridge.
