Hi, this is Barry Anderson, son of John Anderson of Anderson Guncraft. I wanted to introduce myself and say that I\'m in the process of purchasing Anderson Guncraft from my mother. I have lived around Gatlings almost all of my life and spent 18 years working with dad both part time and full time. I am an accomplished machinist and have made every part in a Gatling many times over. Dad and I worked in the foundry together producing the castings required. As dad got older he let me do most of the heavy manual labor in the foundry!!
Anyway before dad died his order list had disappeared and he was building, what turned out to be the last four guns, on speculation. I was working part time with him and running my own shop when I accepted a job in a different part of the state. I put my house up for sale and was working the job during the week and traveling home an the weekends. So when dad died things were in motion that couldn\'t be stopped.
So now I\'ve bought a new house that is suitable and I should be moving the shop in late April 2015. It will take a while to get Anderson Guncraft back up and running as I will be working my full time job for the foreseeable future.
