R-GG dwg on occillator

was looking at 5300 dwgs, I noticed that the oscillator adjusting screw is 2.250 below where the cap is. The hole in the oscillator body that adjusting screw fits is only 1.950 deep which Dimension is right do I cut off adjusting screw to fit or do I drill oscillator body deeper also where in dwgs are the trunnions to attach the gun to yoke

I can help you with the trunniun part. The drawings do not include these two pieces for one reason or another. They are easily made from some .750 CR rod though. Turn one end down to .375 for .375 length then thread it 3/8-NC to match your rails then leave about .093 wide by .750 dia. and turn the other end down to your yoke length and diameter.
