Barrel Lengths

I know that the question of legality of the RG-G Gatling Type Gun has bee discussed and the the ATF has no problem as long as the gun is hand cranked  and fed by a Brue or feed chute type magazine but what about the 12\" barrel length and the NFA requirement for 16\" minumum barrel length for rifles? I know that calling the RG-G gun a rifle is a bit of a stretch since the large wheels on the carriage make it difficult to shoulder the gun but has this been addressed?

 I am at the point where the barrel length could be increased to 16\" although it would mean scrapping 6 of my 12 barrels, center shaft and spacer tube. I would rather not do this but I would also not be happy about having my finished gun confiscated.

Gatlings are considered \"Title 1\" firearms-- not a pistol, not a rifle, not an NFA class 3 item (MG, SBR, AOW, DD, ...), just a plain old \"firearm\"-- as long as they stay within the original Gatling patents, in particular the part about hand-cranked and mag- or hopper-fed.  Thus the rifle barrel length rules don\'t apply.

If you put a stock on it your in trouble. So don\'t put a shoulder stock on it. LOL but true.
