Need advice on soldering STEEL parts together

I have a jar of Swif 95-5 TIN-ANTIMONY SOLDER AND FLUX IN PASTE FORM that I got 10 years ago from Brownell and have never used it. My questions is: Should it work for the bolts and other stuff (made form steel) that needs to be soldered on the RG-G gun. How much should I use. Should I just bush some on the parts then clamp them together. Should a map gas torch be hot enough to do the job. Should I leave some space between the parts for the solder. The company I work for uses some kinf of epoxy to glue in aluminum sleeves into tiatnum tubes. They never come out.
Thanks for any advise!

Dont leave any space for it, just lightly flux it and solder it, it will find its way in there. I use propane... Clean it well when your done, the flux that is left will make steel rust, fast!
