Jim,

My appoligies for not approving you post sooner and hence the delay before it appeared. I am in Toronto, Canada on my \"day job\". I would really like to see some photos of your project and any details you are willing to share with the group.

Welcome and I hope you enjoy the interaction.

Roller,
How did your D & E gun turn out for you? Is it a shooter or a looker so to speak? If you have some pictures of your finished gun, please post them.
Thanks,
bruski

It was shooting when I took it apart to do the finishing!  Filled 20 phone books with lead in my shop.  Have not shot it since I reassembled it.  Wife made me get it out of the living room and put it in the basement!  I had planned on taking it to the range and get a video of it firing but have been working on other projects.  There are photos in the D&E section of the finished gun.

Roller,
Is your basement used for storage, or is it a man cave? My wife met me at the front door when I was wheeling my RG-G towards the movie room/living room and said \"I don\'t think so\". Then she mentioned something about moving my slot machines out of there also. So I backed off real quick and got the message. The slot machines are still in there for now any way. The RG-G is back in my shop/office for now.

Basement is one of my retreats, barn is the other.  I do my reloading in the basement and the machining in the barn.  Barn is climate controlled and I spend most of my time out there.

I just found your Forum—Via a Link over on \"Weapons Guild\" and wanted to check your Forum out.

Just getting started here, but wanted to make the semi-obligatory \"Howdy\" post.

Hello Everyone,

Just wanted to say how glad I am to find this site. The plans for the D&E gun just arrived yesterday, I\'ve been looking them over, while trying not to feel like I bit off more then I can chew. I\'m a selt taught home shop machinist, so I\'m sure I\'ll have plenty of questions. My shop should be up to the task, hopefully my skills will be as well.
