Model 1874 Camel gun
« on: January 10, 2016, 11:43:58 AM »

This pic was taken yesterday 01/09/16. 1874 Camel in .45-70 nearing completion. I still have the feed hopper to machine. This is the last major part of the gun to be done. Gear blanks are at the gear cutting shop and should be done in a couple of weeks. After the gun is done I\'ll start on the tripod parts.

As of 3/29/16 the Camel gun is almost complete. I\'m working on polishing the bolts and getting them fitted to the gun. Once they are running smoothly I\'ll fit the extractors and firing pin assemblies. Once all of that is done I\'ll finish the hopper hinge block then it will be about time to test fire it! Pics and video will be posted on my facebook page.
