Gatling Gun shoot in PA
« on: January 09, 2015, 07:00:53 PM »

I got invited to shoot at a Gatling Gun shoot in PA  last Nov.. It was a blast! We got to kill a car and lots of pumkins, there where at lest 15 Gatling and some other cool guns. I brought the 1862 Gating and the Coffee mill gun ( still working on the carriage ) They worked great. First they shot the car with a 12# Cannon right through the grill and through the engine block, lots pieces of pistons and engine parts left on the ground then we got to have fun with it. If you look close at the third pic the one of the valve cover there is no block left under it. there was a Hotchkiss 37 mm revolving cannon made in 1883 (Awesome) to right of me and two bull dogs to the left.

Well that should teach Dave for leaving his car keys were someone could get to them. LOL

Way to cool group of pics. Seen a few cars that have been shot up but never one shot up with old guns like that. Nice group of Gats. Thanks for sharing the pics and glad that you had fun!!

Wish that I could get permission to post the pic of Lucky13 and myself in front of the Gatling Gun group at the Reed Knight Museum in Fla but can\'t so you folks will just have to believe me when I say we got to stand there with 10 to 15 Original Gatling Guns behind us. Great Place.

Hope that you get to go back again sometime and have another great time of it. Enjoy

Later 42rocker

A repo Nordenfelt 3 barrel from the 1880\'s and.It was the weirdist sounding gun, all 3 barrels fire at the same time when you push the arm forward. If you push it slow it fires like a 3 round burst. And a Hotchkiss mountain cannon. COOL
