I started milling the slots with my cnc mill on a smaller sized Broadwell magazine today. That rather large pile of chips is from 2 of the 12 slots for my six shooter. More pictures to follow after I baby sit my mother-in-law for a little while.

bruski,
I would make the 450 mile drive to Yuma to watch
and offer support for your project, except for the last
sentence. Let me know when the coast is clear.

Great project
Good luck

Thanks guys, you know that she isn\'t really all that bad after all. Since she only speaks the Russian language, I just translate everything that she says as kind good words to me. I might even show her around my shop now.

Looking good on this. I can wait till I get to this stage.
If I remember right your 6 shooter is .357, right?

This six shooter is a 22 long rifle similar to cutters but without the drum magazine. I am using a stick mag. on the .357 testing it still.

A little puckering required at break through.

I clamped the piece at a very slight angle so the area near the vise would still have some meat left. I will admit, on the last pass around, I slowed everything way down and was ready for something bad to happen but it didn\'t.

Here is another base plate for the Broadwell magazine cut out with my cnc mill. My controler is an older type and is not compatible with todays computers so I had to type in each block with the key pad on the machine.

Bruski, are you gonna try to have it index mechanically or by hand?

I am going for the mechanical way of indexing. I am still figuring out the lever length to get the proper indexing with a six barreled gun. More pictures to come soon.
